Exam details:
- Written exam, 90 minutes, 4 questions. Language of exam: English.
-
- One out of the four exam questions will be very similar to a homework question
(maybe I will change some constants or shorten the HW question to fit the exam's time constraints)
-
- An exam question can test theory (definitions, statements of theorems, proofs, part of a proof) or it can be very similar to an example solved in class (incl. student presentations)
-
- Good to know: I pick exam questions using a random number generator: I pick a page in the lecture notes and ask a question related to the material that I find there.
- Good to know: I will indicated the page numbers of the scanned lecture notes that we skip in 2024 (an therefore will not appear in the exams)
- Good to know: You are not allowed to use formula sheets on exams, but maybe I will
provide formulas on the exam sheet that are hard to remember. Try to remember the ideas, not the formulas.
- Good to know: Read the official solutions of homeworks, because maybe my solution is shorter than yours!
