I got my first degree in 1970 at the Eötvös Lóránd University in
English and Philosophy. I received a degree of doctorate in Philosophy in 1976
at the same University.
In 1977 I got a degree in Mathematics at Eötvös Lóránd University. In 1984 I received a degree of doctorate in Mathematics at the same University. In 1990 I received a degree of candidate from Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
From 1971 till 1992 I worked the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Sciences of the Eötvös Lóránd University first as a junior lecturer and then from 1978 as a senior lecturer.
In 1992 I became a reader in Mathematics at the Technical University of Budapest.
I have visited numerous foreign University. I have done research in London, Manchester, Trento, Aachen, Gainesville, Jena. In 1992 I gave a talk at the well-known Oberwolfach conference.
